The Global Mixx Media Group, Inc. is a marketing and production company that leads in the areas of music marketing, industry and community engagement, brand conceptualization and event production. With over 25 years of experience within the entertainment and marketing business, On the Street Promotions & Marketing has worked with over 300 music and non-music companies bringing a unique style of grass roots coverage and consultation to connect companies to consumers.
On the Street Promotions and Marketing recently folded into Global Mixx Media Group, Inc. in 2013 as the expansion of company capabilities reached outside of the entertainment industry. We take pride in working with clients in the product packaging, public service sector, legal and medical industries. For the past 15 years, we have produced the various music business conferences and workshops to educate and empower the urban music community. The Global Mixx Music & Film Forum is an annual 2-day conference that invites musicians, filmmakers, directors, artist managers, producers, songwriters, marketing agencies, attorneys and various companies to attend panels, workshops, showcases and network with vendors.
Global Mixx Creative Arts
Global Mixx Creative Arts Foundation was established as a resource assisting people in the education of music, film and creative media education. Over the years, we have produced key programs from the Chicago DJ Summit in both 2000 and 2001, establishing the Global Mixx DJ Retreat in 2005 and gradually transitioning every year into what is now the Global Mixx Music & Film Forum. In 2009, Collabo Music Industry Mixer was formed to interact with industry professionals on a monthly and quarterly basis in the Chicago region through panel discussions and networking.
We are committed to bringing professionals in the areas of music, production, filmmaking, acting, songwriter, business affairs, marketing, media relations and audio engineering to network through workshops and panel discussions. The power of information flow and demonstrational exchange is the key to working with youth seeking education in the business of the arts. Global Mixx Media Group felt it was important to continue our community outreach throughout the year to bridge both the professional industry and young students seeking a career in the arts.
